Christmas Wish Drive is a big success

The Letterman's Club again pulled off a productive and helpful Christmas Wish Drive.  Many of the 60+ families the Letterman's collected and purchased gifts for came to the staff cafeteria on Monday December 9th and were overwhelmed and thankful for the items they received.  Below are just some of the items put together for the families.

   

   

More CWD stuff

A big "thanks" and "great job" goes out to everyone that helped out today.  We didn't have the numbers I had hoped for, but we were productive and have everything ready for Monday.  We need everyone to meet at room 216 to help carry everything down to the staff cafeteria.  We'll start around 645am, just come by when you normally get to school.

Christmas Wish Drive Saturday

We'll meet just inside the Arnold WalMart at 8am, and those of you that cannot make it then, we'll meet at school around 10am.  The front doors should be open because there is a math competition taking place in the front hall and 3rd wing.  Meet around room 208 and 216 and we'll get things organized for Monday.  If you cannot make it tomorrow, remember to help before school Monday with moving items from 2nd wing to the staff cafeteria.

Thursday December 5th- Meeting and Pictures

We have our meeting before school on Thursday December 5th, and we also have yearbook pictures at 145pm in the small gym.  Wear your Letterman's shirts on Thursday!

Next meeting & Christmas Wish Drive stuff

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, December 5th in the staff cafeteria before school.  We'll be discussing and planning our Christmas Wish Drive shopping excursion for Saturday, December 7th to Wal-Mart.  Make arrangements now for the 7th.  Our shopping and organizing for the CWD should take all morning and some of the afternoon.  Also, plans for an ice skating outing to Kirkwood on Sunday, December 8th will be finalized.  Check this Letterman's blog/website for more information about upcoming events. 

Welcome to the FHS Letterman's Club website/blog

This will now be the place to check for information about upcoming Fox High School Letterman's Club events.  Too many members are unable to hear morning announcements, so this website/blog will keep everyone updated about meetings, social events, craft fairs, Christmas Wish Drive, and everything else the Letterman's Club is involved with.

The first order of business is to make sure everyone knows that we'll be going around to advisories on Monday, November 18th to invite them to particpate in this year's Christmas Wish Drive.  Please make sure to visit those advisories you were scheduled to on Friday.  If you need another script, or have any questions, stop by room 208 to see Mr. Boyd.
